大手電機メーカーのパナソニックが富山県内の工場に勤務する従業員に労使協定の上限を超える時間外労働をさせていたとして、厚生労働省富山労働局の砺波労働基準監督署（同県砺波市）は15日、労働基準法違反の疑いで、法人としての同社と工場で労務管理を担当していた幹部２人を書類送検した。（中略）
パナソニックを巡っては、この工場に勤務していた40代の男性社員が昨年６月に亡くなり、同労基署が今年２月、長時間労働による過労が原因だとして労災認定した。同労基署は公表していないが、関係者によると、違法な時間外労働をさせられていた３人の中に過労死した社員が含まれているという。
