在留資格を不正に変更して中国人留学生の不法就労を手助けしたとして、警視庁組織犯罪対策１課は７日までに、日本語学校の経営会社「ＲＥＩＡＩ」（東京）幹部、豊原隆位容疑者（53）＝東京都練馬区光が丘＝を入管難民法違反（資格外活動ほう助）容疑で逮捕した。
逮捕容疑は昨年11月から今年３月にかけ、中国人留学生の20代の男を社員として雇ったように偽り、在留資格を不正に変更。留学生が都内の飲食店で不法就労するのを手助けした疑い。
同課によると、豊原容疑者は2012～16年に、同様の手口で少なくとも中国人留学生ら60人の不法就労を手助けしていた。留学生から１人当たり60万～100万円の報酬を受け取り、計約5300万円を得ていた。
